Muhmood music is a mixture of
all kinds of styles, so there is no point in trying
to label it
by one single genre. Starting from a capellas,
going thru
experimental ambient with an ethnic streak [mostly
middle eastern]
and creative percussion, ending with heavy guitar
riffs
and powerful drum sets.
Muhmood is a one man act, that was founded
by me [ Alexei Biryukoff ] in 2003 and till the
summer of 2007
has been staying without a name.
I have played in several local underground bands
over the years
since 1992, and only in 2003 I started making soundtracks
for my conceptual art projects, that include paintings,
installations,
music and performances. But more and more material
was piling up
over the last year that stays mostly in the form
of drafts and
screams for extra releases that would hardly fit
in my future art shows.
also intend to do live performances eventually.
